MEET ALLISON

Hello, and welcome! I’m Allison Riddle and I’m a passionate Doula, Postpartum Doula and Epidoula supporting moms in Georgetown, KY and surrounding counties! I also provide support with lactation & education. I’m dedicated to empowering women to embrace their birth experiences fully.

My first birth turned into an unexpected emergency c-section, which really made me advocate for myself during my second pregnancy. I was able to achieve a successful VBAC and then went on to have an unmedicated VBAC with my third. It was through those experiences that gave me the passion & desire to help other mom’s achieve the birth that they so long for.

By providing comprehensive education and support, I help you better understand your options and make informed decisions. My goal is to ensure that you are an active participant in your birth experience, along with walking alongside you during your prenatal & postpartum periods.

MY MISSION

MY MISSION

My mission is to provide compassionate, holistic support for expecting families through every step of their journey— before, during, and after birth.

Whether you're looking for emotional guidance, physical support, or someone to simply listen, I believe in the power of connection, community, and shared experience. I’m a dedicated doula that is here to empower you with knowledge, confidence, and the care you deserve. At Collective Motherhood, I am committed to creating a space that celebrates the unique needs and stories of every mother, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and loved.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works. My soul knows it very well.”

Psalm 139:13-14

COLLECTIVE MOTHERHOOD OFFERINGS

Prenatal Support

Expecting a baby is such a sacred & exciting time. Getting to walk alongside this season with you is such a joy and there’s so much more to it than just eating the right foods and getting a nursery ready. It’s important that a mom feels empowered & confident throughout pregnancy as she prepares for birth and postpartum.

Birth Support

Doulas provide physical & emotional support throughout labor along with non medical pain & comfort measures. I also assist support partners in how they can best serve mom as well. Together we are a team.

Postnatal Support

Postpartum is a big adjustment on mom, but can also be a big adjustment for families. The postpartum period can get overlooked in today’s society and not be honored the way it should. The most common nesting time is a 40 days long. That can be hard for families with multiple children or and/or lack of support and that is how a postpartum doula can be of assistance. Doula care is rooted in knowing how to care for mom and their families during this time.

“So thankful we made the decision to use collective motherhood. Allison was a silent guardian angel in the delivery room. Helping my husband know how to best help me while she juggled keeping the nurses informed and minimized interruptions during labor. When I needed her directly she always seemed to know and was right there helping me choose new positions to get baby out quickly and smoothly. Truly had my perfect birth thanks to Allison.”

“Even though I don’t live close enough for Allison to be there during my labor and delivery, I’m so glad I still got to work with her while putting together my birth plan. As a first-time mom, I really wanted to feel as prepared as possible—and Allison helped me feel exactly that. She answered all my questions, walked me through every detail, and made sure my plan covered everything I needed. I seriously can’t recommend her enough!”
